The term “businesses” used in this policy includes all organizations, both private and public, and consisting of groups or individuals.

Acceptance of terms of use

The terms of use represent a legal agreement between you and the CRAAQ with respect to access and use of the Site. READ THE TERMS OF USE CAREFULLY before using the Site. By accessing the Site and using its content and features, you understand and agree to the contract, which includes all the terms of use stated in this document.

If you do not agree to these terms of use or do not intend to comply, you must refrain from using this Site.

Applicable laws

The Site and its content are administered by the CRAAQ, whose head office is located in Quebec, Canada. This agreement concerning the terms of use is governed by the applicable laws in the province of Quebec.

Use restrictions

Consulting information

The Site and all the items contained within it have been developed for your personal use for non-commercial purposes. You agree to use them in accordance with the applicable laws, regulations and standards and in compliance with the terms and conditions of this contract.

The Site is offered as a service to visitors. The CRAAQ reserves the right to modify, add or remove any information or item, including, and with no exclusion, the functionalities, references and publications at any time and for any reason.

The CRAAQ can, at its discretion, limit certain services and functionalities or restrict access to parts of the Site or the entire Site without notice or liability.

Business registration

Businesses register on a voluntary basis.

A business must provide advisory services to agricultural producers. An advisory service is a service provided by one or more agricultural advisors whose objective is to help operators of agricultural businesses make decisions in the conduct of their businesses (Source: CCAE).

Businesses wishing to register in the Directory of Advisory Services and/or the Directory for Young Farmers must employ agricultural advisors.

Registration is voluntary, but by joining the CRAAQ Directories, you assume liability for the content of your profile and you undertake to provide valid, reliable information that is relevant to the community and to update it regularly. By registering, you agree to have your contact information posted in the directory.

You are also responsible for maintaining your username and password in order to be able to access your registration profile at all times.

All persons wishing to register must understand that there is a delay before their contact information is posted on the site.

A registration form is available at all times on the directories’ Web sites to enable new registrations and updates at all times.

The Centre de référence en agriculture et agroalimentaire du Québec (CRAAQ) reserves the right to cancel any registration known to be fraudulent or false.

Limitation of liability

The CRAAQ makes every effort to provide users with the most accurate and up-to-date information possible, but cannot guarantee that it is free of errors or that it will be used appropriately.

The content posted and distributed on the site and its use, as well as the content accessible through hypertext links and use of the site itself is the sole responsibility and liability of the respective authors and users. The CRAAQ cannot be held liable for any inaccuracy, error, omission or fault that may result directly or indirectly from the use of the Site and its content.

The contents, including any trademarks mentioned, do not constitute agronomic, financial, investment or any other advice or a legal opinion. Users should obtain appropriate advice from their own advisors (agronomists, legal or financial advisors, etc.) before making any decisions related to the information presented.

Links to third party sites

The Site contains links to Web sites operated by other organizations and businesses. When you click on one of these links, you leave the CRAAQ site. The CRAAQ does not have any control over the operation of these Web sites, and the fact that they are identified on the Site does not in any way render the CRAAQ liable nor does it signify that the CRAAQ approves of the content or endorses the organizations or businesses concerned.

Access policy

The CRAAQ reserves the right to terminate these terms of use and/or your right to navigate and use the Site (or part of the Site) or its functionalities at any time without cause or notice, at its sole discretion.


The CRAAQ makes every effort possible to protect the personal information under its control. To find out about the protection and security measures put in place by the CRAAQ, consult the CRAAQ's security and confidentiality policy.


The CRAAQ reserves the right to modify the Site's terms of use policy at any time, but is committed to keeping this document up to date. In the event of a modification, a modification notice will be posted on the Site inviting you to re-read the policy, and a list of all the modifications will be permanently saved by CRAAQ.
